The signature colors that costume designer Jany Temime chose for Ron, Hermione, and Harry in Prisoner of Azkaban stayed with them for the duration of the series. Costume designers decided to go with pink and purple tones for Hermione’s wardrobe, as blue tones washed Emma Watson out on screen. These pink and purple tones were also often paired with pieces of denim, cardigans, striped or patterned knits, and peacoats.
